When in Las Vegas- Please Check In

Ok you saved up for this Vegas trip. You’ve slimmed down to look nice and eat voraciously. You spent hundreds, maybe thousands on clothes, travel and accommodations. You’re here in big Sin City and it’s Friday night. Everyone telling you go to Drais and you find out it’s closed. The consigliere’s tell you they can get you a table at the Wynn. You think that’s a pretty extravagant hotel and casino, plus Drake has residency there. Hey it’s Friday night, what’s the ticket? You’re told 5k plus gratuity for a table near the pool. 5k??! 😳 You work a 9-5 with responsibilities of a father/mother. That’s a month salary for you- But hey, you only live once right? So You book the table, you tell your crew and you all get dressed to the T and start to head out. You don’t know where the uber pick up is and the promoter told you that you must be there no later than 12am. There’s 6 of you, so you jump into the SUV parked in front of the hotel that’s there to take guests places. The SUV drives 2 lights to the Wynn and charges you $350 😳 1st highway robbery!

You get to the club, 5k? You dont have to wait in line… too long. The ambience is amazing as your table is right by the pool as promised. Then you start to realize after the 3rd song that EDM music is still playing since you walked in. You’re 40 years old and after the first drink the constant banging drumbeat is starting to give you a headache. You ask your server are they ever gonna play hip hop or Rnb? She tells you “not on Fridays”. First night wasted

You just was robbed of 5k by Vegas’ finest stick up artist. Had you “checked” in with us or any of the locals you would have been told where you find YOUR taste and find value in your buck. You just can not figure out Las Vegas in one weekend or even a week. This city changes consistently like a traffic light. Palms may have been the spot the last time you came and went to a Mike Epps party in 2022 yet may not today.
